Cuttsia viburnea? F.v.M.

Saxifrageae

Flowers from Tallebudgera1

Capsules from Coochin2

I doubt the idendity of the plant from which I gathered the flowers and capsules. It looks much the same; I gathered the capsules long ago, the flowers only lately in two far apart localities. I have no access to your description in the V vol. of the Frag:3 from the generic description in the Genera Plantarum4 I am inclined to think that the present specimen is a Cuttsia.

MS found with a specimen of Cuttsia viburnea (MEL 2235712). MS annotation on reverse: '1881 Scoterchini'. The letter's handwriting is similar to that of known specimens of Scortechini's handwriting.
