We have the honor to recommend Charl. Barnard, M. D., of Gulgong (New South Wales) as a fellow of the Linnean Society, for which distinction he has some claims by his local investigation into vegetable palaeontology.

This recommendation must be signed by Three or more Fellows.

N.B. – The Christian name of the Candidate must be stated at length, as well as his Residence, and any special qualifications he may possess.

 

This certificate was read at a General Meeting of the Society, on the 17th day of March 1881

The Ballot will take place on the 21st day of April 1879
