Im Wir[r]warr der Austellungs Geschäfte und im Drange anderen Anforderungen an mich, lieber Herr Tepper, mag ich Ihre letzte Sendung nicht anerkannt haben.
Ohne Nummer war Cassinia spectabilis R Br dabei. Ich habe nun auf das grosse Material der Acacien zum Vergleich zusammengebracht, um Ihre Arten genau benennen zu können.

In the confusion of the exhibition matters1 and in the pressure of other requests on me, dear Mr Tepper, I may not have acknowledged your last consignment.
Cassinia spectabilis R Br without number was with it. I have now assembled the large material of the Acacias for comparison to be able to name your species exactly.
