Die Eucalypte, welche Sie mir senden, lieber Herr Tepper, ist eine Varietät von Euc. oleosa, welche ich in meinem Forstrapport für Westaustralien mit abbildete.
Soweit ich nach dem Bruchstück ermitteln kann, ist was Sie als Verbena officinalis senden die wahre Art, welche am Torrens bei Adelaide u an den Bächen an Mt Lofty Range nicht selten ist
Ich will das Fragment aber doch zergliedern u weiter berichten.
Mein bescheidenes Photogram soll Ihnen demnächst zur freundlichen Annehmen zugehen

The Eucalypt that you sent me, dear Mr Tepper,1 is a variety of Eucalyptus oleosa, which I figured in my forest report for Western Australia as well.2
As far as I can ascertain from the fragment, what you send as Verbena officinalis is the true species, which is not rare on the Torrens near Adelaide and on the creeks in the Mount Lofty range.
Nevertheless I will dissect the fragment and report further.
