On an examination of the Acacias of Australia, noble Sir, I notice that the Acacia sublanata originally described by Bentham cannot include A pravifolia, if the former is correctly described in Enumeratio plantarum ...Huegel.1 Would you have the goodness to send me a piece of Bauer's original specimen, even if only a couple of phylodiae, bracts and a flower head.2 Your courtesy will be acknowledged in print.
With respect

According to Bentham's note, fruits seem not to have been collected by Bauer. Was Bauer's species really from the south coast of Australia?
The bracts in A. pravifolia are quite short and blunt, whereas Bentham described those of A. sublanata as bristle-pointed. Can I send you anything in particular from here.
Acacia sublanata
Acacia pravifolia
