Ostern
1881.
Easter 1881.1
I am commissioned, respected Friend, by Dr Rudall2 to inform you that he will be absent from Melbourne in the next half year, because he has just begun a professional journey to Europe via America. Should it be absolutely necessary that you call on further medical assistance, I shall very gladly put you in communication during Rudall's absence with another physician who has earned the highest confidence. I regard it as my duty to inform you about this journey of my friend, since it is not desirable that a letter directed to him should fall into other hands.
With best greetings
Ferd. von Mueller.
Do kindly write if there is a prospect for the publication of my Select plants in a new edition there.3
