Dear Baron Mueller
The insect you ask about in your letter of last month2 has not of late years made its appearance here. Every summer of late we have made diligent search for it but without success. It was on the leaves of the Red gum & Apple tree it fed.
I enclose a fern the only one of the sort I have seen. It was found in a springy mossy place high in the ranges Also a climber rare in this part of the Country.
yours sincerely
J. Findlay
