This certificate was read at a General Meeting of the Society, on the 1st day of December 1881

Scortechini’s death was noted at the Linnean Society’s Anniversary Meeting, 24 May 1887 (Proceedings of the Linnean Society of London, session 1886-7, p. 17), but no obituary was published by the Society (see TL2).
