7/11/81.
Just a few mosses, dear Mr Mitten; you shall have lots of them hereafter, as I have a collector in the field. Dr C. Mueller is also anxious to have mosses from me. How can it be arranged, that you are both supplied, without clashing? in the publication of any novelties?
If you could look over the msc. moss list or supplement early what is printed from Hampe,1 I should be greatly beholden to you.
With regardful remembrance
Ferd. von Mueller.
