From Ferdinand von Mueller to Ralph Tate   6 Jan 1882

6/1/82.

Before I forget, dear Prof. Tate, I like to mention, that Salicornia leiostachya (Benth) has been sent by the Rev. Mr Kempe from the Finke-River.1 Mr Lewis found it also at Lake Eyre2 and Mr Howitt on the lower Barcoo.3

I notice only to day, that Cyperus lucidus, your common Cyperus there is omitted, & for it substituted the mere variety of it C. Gunnii.4

Also through a sending of our friend Mr Tepper I am reminded, that Lobelia pedunculata RBr is omitted in your list and for S. A. in the flora also. I found it myself on the Onkaparinga5 as far back as 1849!

Regardfully your

Ferd von Mueller
