Dear Baron

I knew that Psilotum triquetrum had been obtained at Lord Howes Island1 but the Lycopod.2 I sent you seemed somewhat different to me in its pendent fruit stems I therefore again send you a specimen with some from the rocks at Hunters Hill.3 The reason I sent the fern was that the seed I think (at least in those I kept) is on the under side of the leaf whereas the Deparia now in seed in my green house has them all on the upper side. Please let me know if the naming of other specimens enclosed is correct.4 E King5 is now in town from Howes Island and I shall give him the portion of your letter which refers to Corynocarpus6 and something may be done but I think it would be well to send me specimens for this Collector

I remain

Dear Baron

Yours truly

Robt D Fitzgerald
