From Ferdinand von Mueller to James Barnard   3 Feb 1882

[From Baron von Mueller, asking if space, for a contribution from him, to the extent of a few pages, could be afforded in the forthcoming part of the Society's Proceedings. The Secretary was requested to forward an affirmative reply to the Baron.1]

M's note on the vegetation of King Island, B82.13.14, was, unusually, published without being read at a meeting.

Letter not found; item is an entry in the minutes of a Council Meeting of the Royal Society of Tasmania held on 13 February 1882, under 'Correspondence recd.'. For the date of M's letter, see J. Barnard to M, 18 February 1882.
