N. 600, in Ihrem Brief v. 6.

In the absence of Professor Tate I would like to inform you, dear Mr Tepper, that my sister has sent Leptorrhynchus tenuifolius from near Mt Burr,1 as new for South Australia. If you do submit something to the Royal Society, you could show this plant as well.2
Your
Ferd. von Mueller.
Even Goodenia humilis, as you will see, is there at Mt Burr found by Mrs Wehl, and Spiranthes australis at Rivoli Bay in the Hummocks! whereby a genus gained for South Australia. My sister sent me only 1 specimen, thus I cannot give this away, also only one of the mossy small Selaginella preissiana from Mt Burr, and Drosera pygmaea from Guichen Bay.3
That Mrs Wehl found Helichrysum cinereum at Rivoli Bay, I think I have already informed you.4
Mrs Richards of Fowlers Bay5 just sent me Pterostylis mutica, by which its range is proved for over 500 miles further west. Perhaps you will regard these notes as too long for a special communication to the Royal Society of Adelaide, especially because since then something further from Rev. H. Kempe is to be added, e.g. Spartothamnus teucriiflorus, Salicornia leiostachya and Professor Tate's Phyllanthus tatei from Spencers Gulf and then your last novelties.
N. 600 in your letter of 6 March is a form of the widely distributed Calycothrix tetragona. Very willingly shall the name of Judge Way soon be bestowed on a new plant, but it must be a species from South Australia.
Cyperoideae species are in many cases so widely distributed that nothing stands in the way of the assumption of Cyperus tenellus as indigenous. Were this little plant introduced it would have to be spread more widely there.
Do not disturb the Stackhousiae in your collection; I shall probably soon find all the material sent successively together, which admittedly is very time consuming.6 Stackhousia spatulata7 is rather common on the coast there.
With best greetings
Ferd. von Mueller.
