To William Thiselton-Dyer   15 March 1882

15/3/82

This day, dear Mr Dyer, I got through the kindness of Mr John Forrest the ♂ amenta of Macrozamia Fraseri in an excellent state for photographing; but the fruit amenta had fallen to pieces, having been over ripe. I shall however be able to write a satisfactory description of this species now.1

In the course of this week will likely arrive the material for completing the photograms of the three species of Cycas from Middle Queensland.2

Regardfully your

Ferd. von Mueller.

I will send you seeds, scales of fruit & leaves of M. Fraseri from the new & better material now arrived.3
