Verehrter Herr!
Die mir unter dem 16/2 d. J. übersandten Süsswasseralgen von Port Phillip habe ich untersucht u. theile Ihnen als Resultat folgendes mit.

Batrachospermum ...? vielleicht neu? ist aber in der Zersetzung begriffen. Als Schmarotzer darin Fragillaria grandis. [Batrachospermum ...? perhaps new? is, however, in the process of decomposition. Fragilaria grandis as parasite in it.] |

Oscillaria subfusca?—die braune, unter d. Mikroskop körnige Masse scheint auch ein Zersetzungsproduct zu sein. Das Exemplar ist in Betreff der Oscillarienfäden noch unentwickelt. [Oscillaria subfusca?—the brown mass, granular under the microscope, seems also to be a product of decomposition. The specimen is still undeveloped in respect to the vibrating filaments.] |
