From Ferdinand von Mueller to Jacob Agardh   5 June 1882

5/6/82

5/6/82

After I had already written by today's mail, highly esteemed Professor,1 I decided to send to you immediately some small items of algae that have accumulated at my office, irrespective of the large number that the widow of our deceased friend Sonder is storing for me temporarily.

If you should lack the time to inspect these insignificant things, because they probably only have value for details of localities, you would undoubtedly show me the kindness of forwarding this little material to an admittedly much less experienced algae specialist.

With respect

Your

Ferd. von Mueller

If anything of importance is found among the things sent now, I ask for a small piece back, because I am keeping nothing here.

M to J. Agardh, 5 June 1882.
