Would you be so kind to let me know, dear Mr Dyer, what spec. of Eupatorium it is, which yields the fine fibre in Argentina, mentioned in the Kew Report of 1877.2

Eupatorium

MS annotation by Thiselton-Dyer: 'An[swere]d July 22/82'. Letter not found.
See M to W. Thiselton-Dyer 21 September 1882 (in this edition as 82-09-21a), for an apology for writing Eupatorium instead of Euryngium [sic =?Eryngium]. In editions of the Select Plants… from B84.13.22 M cites Kew Report 1877, p. 37 for information on the fibres produced by Eryngium pandanifolium.
