To William Thiselton-Dyer   22 August 1882

22/8/82

The large stem of Macrozamia Denisonii, dear Mr Dyer, is packed in a case and goes to morrow on board.1 As it is fresh and sound, it ought to grow readily enough. A smaller stem is added for anatomic dissection. I also just learn, that the stem of M. Fraseri is ready for me at K. G. Sound2 for shipping.

Probably you have good large plants of that one growing there; then it will serve for anatomic research also.

I have recently received a species of Strobilanthes from North Australia, and what appears to be the true Indigofera tinctoria in a slightly aberrant form from North QL.3

Regardfully your

Ferd. von Mueller
