To Edward Ramsay   22 November 1882

22/11/82.

Best thanks, dear Mr Ramsay, for the "marine" plants. You will hardly credit, when I say that no one ever had a fruiting specimen of the common "Seagrass", (Zostera) (sent now with the Algs) from any part of N.S.W. in fruit. Probably you have two species there, but none has been accurately determined yet.

I look forward with interest also to the "Seagrass" on which the Halicore1 principly feeds.

Regardfully your

Ferd. von Mueller.
