The specimens from Buxton2 did not all come in duplicates

When only 1 specimen arrives I send it to you as in the case of the one No 166 of which you desire more

I will however ask Mr James to send another supply, and perhaps the one wanted may be found.

Some of the schoolmaster3 have taken no notice of my note to them

MS found with a specimen of Asteraceae (MEL 1547329). Although the MS is unsigned, the formatting and handwriting are the same as in J. Hardy to M, 27 December 1882. MS annotation by M: 'Answ 23/12/82 F.v.M.' Letter not found.
