Erlauben Sie mir, hochgeehrter Herr Professor, Ihnen Mr Ed.
Herrn Professor Dr Agardh &c
Lund.

Permit me, highly esteemed Professor, to introduce to you Mr Ed. Ramsay, the energetic and talented curator of the Sydney Museum. This gentleman, as you will remember, has also at my request caught algae in fishing with the dragnet, and although the coast of New South Wales is in reality poor in algae, he could following your special instruction yet perhaps discover many new things for algology.
Respectfully yours
Ferd. von Mueller.
Professor Agardh &c
Lund.
MS enclosed with M to E. Ramsay, 7 February 1883.
