Geehrter Herr Baron

Achtungsvoll

Ihre ergebener

Respected Baron

With this post I am sending you a plant whose name I would much like to know. The seed of this plant must have been imported here in hay, it sprang up within the last 12 months after manure was sprinkled over it, at a place for some years planted with "Cooch grass".

The plant, although hard, seems to be good horse feed, they eat it willingly.

The plants that I have collected in the neighbourhood of Mount Norris Bay,2 I will send to you at the first opportunity.

Warm greetings I close

Respectfully

Your humble

Paul Foelsche
