From William Elliott to Ferdinand von Mueller   16 May 1883

The Leader Office

MELBOURNE May 16 1883

My dear Baron,

The enclosed weed is devastating the grain fields near the Werribee,1 the farmers say, it ruins their crops, and is extremely difficult to kill.

If you will furnish the name, I should feel greatly obliged.2

Faithfully Yours

W. Elliott

Werribee River, Vic.
