Sir,

Some time since you wrote asking for samples of some Western Australian Woods which were wanted of a certain size.1

I am glad now to be able to forward ten (10) specimens of the woods named in the margin with descriptions and other information concerning each, furnished by the Public Works department.

Also forwarded to your address by this mail are six (6) copies of the compiled work lately issued here relative to the general condition of the Forests & Timber Trade of this Colony.2 Should you desire more copies pray let me know.
