Sir,
I herewith enclose sample of a weed that has made its appearance in the crop paddocks throughout this district, and would thank you to describe it.
It grows in patches on both old and new land, and completely smothers other vegetation.
I am told that a similar weed proved very destructive in the Smeaton district3 some years ago.
