Heute, lieber Herr Doctor Leibius, habe ich an Sie einige Bände meiner Werke adressirt, um dadurch die Reihe derselben in Ihrer Gesellschafts Bibliothek zu vervollständigen, u. fügte ich eine formelle Antwort auf Ihr Schreiben bei.
Nun möchte ich noch bemerken, dass es nur eines Briefes an die Regierung von West-Australien zu Perth bedürfte, um auch von dort aus diese Werke über die Pflanzen Australiens zu ergänzen. Es ist nämlich in der Regierungsdruckerei in Perth W.A. ein Rapport über die "Forest resources of Western Australia" von mir erschienen mit 20 Quart-Tafeln, auch sind in demselben Bureau 2 Abhandlungen über Mr Forrest's West Australische Pflanzen Sammlungen gedruckt. Alles Dieses würde Ihrer Gesellschafts Bibliothek bereitwillig zugewandt werden, falls Sie sich an den Hon the Colonial Secretary, Perth, W.A. desshalb wenden wollen.

Hier sind eben 80 Quart-Zeichnungen fertig geworden über Myoporinen Australiens, die auch reichlich in N.S.W. verteten sind; aber die Mittel für das Lithographiren u Drucken werden wohl erst in 1884 u 1885 erlangt werden.

Today, dear Doctor Leibius, I have forwarded some volumes of my works to you, thereby completing the series of them in your Society's library, and I added a formal answer to you letter.
Now I would like to add that it would only need a letter to the Government of Western Australia at Perth to also complete from there these works on the plants of Australia. You see, in the government printing office in Perth, W.A., a report by me with 20 quarto plates has appeared on the "Forest resources of Western Australia".1 Also 2 essays on Mr Forrest's West Australian plant collections were printed in the same office.2 All of them could be readily obtained for your Society's library, if you wish to apply to the Hon. the Colonial Secretary, Perth, W.A. for that purpose.

About 80 quarto drawings have been prepared here on the Myoporinae of Australia, which also are represented abundantly in N.S.W.; but the funds for the lithography and printing will probably be obtained only in 1884 and 1885.3
