I inclose an orchid for your confirmation Dear Baron I presume it is Pt.3 aphylla, but surely it is a misnomer for after the bloom is on some time a large ray of leaves spring from the thickened underground stem,
The inclosed and T. ixioedes4 are the only two kinds that I did not send to you obtainable in this district
I hope soon to be able to send a few more perfect specimens of the Pt. you supposed to be Pt. Concinna when you will, I doubt not, see that it differs in many ways from that one — in fact it only agrees in having the double pointed labellum, with Pt. Concinna — It will be in bloom in a couple weeks or perhaps less when I shall send some specimens for your further examination
Your obedient Servant
J. N. McKibbin
Pterostylis aphylla
Pterostylis Concinna
Thelymitra ixioides
