Baron F. v. Mueller. M.D. &c

Sir,

I forward by parcels post some specimens of a Mentha from the bank of the Thomson River, which I have not seen here before. as I send impressed fresh specimens you will readily be able to perceive its peculiar odour, which is very different from that of any other labiate which has come under my observation.

If you will give me its name and also the name of the Ranunculus sent in the same parcel & which is from the neighbourhood of Dandenong,

You will greatly oblige

Yours respectfully

J H Niemann
