To Joseph Hooker   24 June 1884

24/6/84.

You will find, dear Sir Joseph, the article, in which I defend Mr Bentham’s and your rights as regards authority for specific names after conjunction of genera in the Botanisches Centralblatt 1884 N. 17 p. 118-122.1 I hope that the Committee, which deliberates on bot. priorities &c now in London,2 will take notice of my article.

Regardfully your

Ferd. von Mueller
