From William Webb to Ferdinand von Mueller   [July 1884]1

[However, thanks to the kindness of a young lady artist, who has drawn it for me, true to nature, I have now a copy which I shall transmit to Baron Ferdinand Von Mueller, who I am quite sure, will do me justice.]

Letter not found. The text given here is from a letter from William Webb to the Albany mail and King George's Sound advertiser, 22 July 1884, p. 2. Webb discusses a marine zoophyte that he had found at Emu Point (WA); although new to him, he was not sure that it was undescribed as his 'knowledge of the science of natural history is very limited, as I am only a natural history collector'.
