From Edward Ramsay to Ferdinand von Mueller   10 July 1884

July 10th 1884

My Dear Baron,

At present I have no Diatomeaceae but I have no doubt I shall be able to get you some shortly.1 I do not often get good samples from N.S.W. but the next I obtain I will send you, with great pleasure

I would have called on you on going through Melbourne but had only just time to catch the train for Sydney.2

Many thanks for the enclosures.3

In a few days I will send you a curious Seaweed just obtained during the recent gale, off our coast.

& believe me, dear Baron

yours very truly,

Ed. P. Ramsay

The Baron Ferd von Mueller M.D.
