Gymnostachys anceps
The reading of the generic initial is slightly uncertain, but if it is 'G' the name would almost certainly be Gymnostachys anceps.
Letter not found; item is a register entry only, recording receipt of M's letter on 1 September 1884. The letter is dated to late August 1884 as the latest dater on which it could have been sent to be received in Brisbane at the beginning of September.
