Hierbei sende ich Ihnen, geehrter Herr Holtze, frische Samen von Castilloa elastica, einem der besten Caoutchouc (India Rubber) Bäume. Ich habe diese Samen eben direct aus Mexico erhalten.
Ich habe neuen bot. Sendungen aus Ihrer doch noch unvollständig erforschten Flora entgegen gesehen.

Castilloa elastica
The name is spelled in this way in a number of contemporary sources, for example in J. Hooker (1884c), but is more usually written Castilla.
