From Ferdinand von Mueller to Otto Tepper   18 Sep 1884

18/9/84

Accept my best thanks, respected Mr Tepper, for your kind letter.1 I'm writing these lines near Nhill in north-western Victoria, whither I have turned to examine a stretch of country still unknown to me for the spring flora and at the same time to enjoy the balmy air far from the coast. I'll send specimens of all North American Violaceae of Australia to the North American savant2 from my museum and also add the New Zealand species. I'll write to you again, when I've returned to Melbourne in a few days.

Best greetings

Your

Ferd. von Mueller.
