Bulli1 4/3d/85
To Baron Ferd von Mueller
Hon'd Sir
In reply to your Letter of the 15 ult.2 I am sorry to say I cannot find a specimen of Elaeocarpus in Flower, in fact after a days searching I only succeeded in finding a very small Plant in Foliage only, specimen enclosed,3 it was growing a few yards from the Parent Tree
I feel disapointed, for where there is one Tree, undoubtedly there is more, but finding them is another matter. I will keep a good look out when I am in the Bush4
I am Hon'd Sir
yours most respectfully
William Kirton
Elaeocarpus
NSW.
