A friend of mine in Germany,1 dear Mr Ramsay, is eager to complete his collection of stuffed Parrots from Australian species. What he not has from this part of the globe, is noted on the byefollowing paper.2 Can any of these be purchased at a reasonable price in Sydney? If I not tax your kindness too much, would you make enquiry. The Gentleman, desiring these species, is not in a position to make readily interchanges; so it would be a matter of purchase. Probably some are easily got in Sydney, but hardly any of them in Victoria.
