In M to A. Möller, 12 July 1883, M suggested to Möller that he make a translation of M's Select plants and set him a copy of the then most recent English edition, B81.01.04. Möller evidently reported that no publisher could be found, and M suggested that a subsidy be sought from one of the affluent wine merchants; see M to A. Möller, 21 March 1883 (in this edition as 84-03-21c). He also suggested that Möller make enquiries about the possibility of publishing the work in Brazil (M to A. Möller, 18 May1885). No translation of M's book by Möller was published; however, a Portuguese translation by Julio Henriques was published in 1905 (B05.13.01).
