M's award of the gold medal offered by the French Ministry of Agriculture was announced at the annual public meeting of the Société nationale d'acclimatation de France on 5 June 1885 ( Bulletin de la Société nationale d'acclimatation de France, series 4, vol. 2, 1885, p. clxiii).

Among the publications received in recent times, we shall mention a considerable work, one of very great value: the Eucalyplographia . No one better than Mr. Mueller was more prepared to manage such a task, and we can say that he has fully succeeded in this difficult undertaking.

The medal is now in the State Library of New South Wales, Sir William Dixson numismatic collection, DN/M 1466.
