Ich bin unter dem Eindruck, lieber Herr Tepper, dass ich Ihnen bereits den Namen des vereinzelten Baumes vom Wakefield-River mitgetheilt habe. Es ist Codonocarpus cotinifolius. Die Localität ist neu, u soll unter Miss Lodder's Namen gelegentlich werden publicirt.

Es ist schade, dass der Acianthus von K.I. auf dem Wege hierher verloren ging.

Sollte ich nicht aufmerksam in der Correspondenz der nächsten Monate sein, so bitte ich Sie zu berücksichtigen, dass ich 3 Werke unter der Presse habe, u dass es viel für die Neu Guinea Exp. und auch für die London Austellung zu thun giebt! Über Wichtiges werde ich aber doch immer stets gleich berichten.

I am under the impression, dear Mr Tepper, that I have already communicated the name of the isolated tree from the Wakefield River1 to you. It is Codonocarpus cotinifolius.2 The locality is new and will be published under Miss Lodder's name some time.

It is a pity that the Acianthus from Kangaroo Island got lost on the way here.3

Should I not be attentive in the correspondence of the next months, I ask you to consider that I have three works in press and that there is much to do for the New Guinea expedition and also for the London exhibition!4 Nevertheless I shall always report immediately on important things.
