Baron Von Mueller K.C.M.G. &c &c

Melbourne

Sir,

I desire to express my thanks to you for the very kind and thoughtful act of sending the book "First help in accidents"1 which I am sure will be of great service to me in the case of sickness or accidents. The printed slips are interesting, and I hope that I will be able to send you some new plants.

I leave for Hergott2 on Monday to purchase Camels. It will be quite 3 weeks yet before I make a final start. Heavy rains in the extreme Far North promise a favorable season for travelling.

I will be glad to receive the seeds for planting as you proposed, and will also be glad to avail myself of any suggestions you — out of your extensive knowledge — may think fit to make.3

I am

Yours very faithfully

David Lindsay
