To Francis Barnard   14 January 1886

14/1/86

Allow me, dear Mr Barnard, to send you for the Field-Naturalists Club three tickets for the annual meeting of the Geographic Society on Monday next,1 as the Club may wish to send Delegates to our Meeting. It needs not my assurance, that we will be gratified to see Representatives of your Union, and if your meeting had not been on the same evening as ours, we might have hoped to see many members at the geographic meeting. Mr French has kindly undertaken to conduct any Delegates of yours to the meeting at the Athenaeum Hall.

With regardful remembrance your

Ferd. von Mueller
