From Ferdinand von Mueller to Maurice Holtze   21 Mar 1886

2[1]/3/86.

The Macarthuria that you have sent me,1 dear Mr Holtze, is M. apetala. The locality is remarkable; could the plant perhaps be transplanted from Swan River to your place. I shall work on more of your plants soon. I look forward anxiously to the fruit of the Eugenia? with little Eucalyptus-like flowers.2

Best greetings
