Until now, dear Mr Tepper, the small packet of plants from the flora of Kangaroo Island1 that your last letter announced2 has not yet arrived. I only comment because something so very easily goes astray, so that I — in case of necessity — make careful enquiries.
With sincere wishes for your-well being
Ferd. von Mueller.
Would it be possible for you in any way to arrange that algae be collected for a moderate payment (according to value) on Lefebre's3 Peninsula and Encounter Bay4 and elsewhere as further material for the 12th volume of my Fragmenta the continuation of which can at last begin, — probably in the next few months. I have already very important addenda to Evasculares.5 I read with pleasure your notes about the native plants in Garden and Field.
