Sir

Referring to clause 44 of the General Regulations respecting Public Accounts which contains directions for the preparation of accounts, I beg to request that in future accounts rendered in favor of a Government Officer may be made to shew under the name which follows "Dr to" at the top of the form, the office held by the claimant and the place of his employment.
