Referring to my letter of the 28th Ulto,2 I have now the honor to transmit to you herewith a draft on the Bank of New Zealand, Melbourne, No 25/140 for £57.10.0 in favor of Mr J. G. Luehmann and to request that you will be good enough to hand it to that gentleman, taking his receipt on the enclosed account and returning the same to this office.

I have to express my regret that payment of this account has been so long delayed by the Treasury.
