I enclose shipping note3 for the case of fossils mentioned in my last. in a small bag in it you will find a seed sent me by one of the Government surveyors, who picked it up some four or five hundred mile inland4 from here. he is very anxious to know the name of it. will you be kind enough to furnish me with it and I will forward it to him
