Your note re the Melaleucae was too late for the plant was given in my first Occasional Paper2 the only way now to do is3 to correct it in the next about to be printed or leave it as it is for a time and we might obtain better specimens

See M to F. Bailey, 22 October 1886 (in this edition as 86-10-22d). Melaleuca lysicephala, described under the names of M and Bailey in Bailey (1886a), p. 2; no further Occassional Paper has been found. In Bailey (1888), p. 24, the species was transferred to Agonis.
