[About six months ago I received a small packet of seed of this valuable grass from Baron Von Mueller, and, very fortunately, one good plant was raised from it, which fully bears out the description given of it1]
Earlier in the letter Edgar paraphrased the account of the grass given in B85.12.03. His letter concludes: 'There is no grass that I have seen to compare with it for growth. … A few plants will be supplied to applicants at the Gardens'.
