Mit dieser Post sende ich Ihnen, edler Freund, zwei Packete Algen, welche Mr Bracebr. Wilson in letzterer Zeit zusammenbrachte und mir zur Weitersendung anvertraute. Bitte, schreiben Sie mir ein paar Reihen, wenn die Päckchen ankommen, da ich dann aus Verantwortung bin.

Ich habe jetzt grosse Exemplare von Claudea Bennett. in Aussicht, u hoffe dass Frucht daran ist. Wie gesagt, ich möchte diese Alge, wenn das Genus wirklich neu ist, mit Ihnen Sonderia nennen.
Eben geht mir eine Grevillea mit bicarpellaren Blumen zu; apocarpische Frucht war bei den Proteaceen noch nicht beobachtet.

I now have prospects of large specimens of Claudea bennettiana and hope that fruit is on them. As stated1 I would like to name this alga with you, if the genus really is new, Sonderia.
A Grevillea has just reached me with bicarpellate flowers; apocarpous fruit were not yet observed in the Proteaceae.
