Für die Vervollständigung der Liste der Käng. Ins. Pflanzen würde es nöthig sein, durch die Ansiedler Algen zu erwerben, wenn auch nur ohne Druck u Papier u ohne Waschung getrocknet, da ich das Material hier präpariren könnte. Die Algenflore der Insel mag reich sein; es ist aber nöthig frisch nach einem Sturm örtlich zu suchen.

For the completion of the list of Kangaroo Island¹ plants it would be necessary to get algae through the settlers, even if only dried without press and paper and without washing, as I could prepare the material here. The algal flora of the island may be rich; but it is necessary to look fresh locally after a gale.
